CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must conform to all criteria within the relevant category
• Applicants must live in, or originate from, Suffolk or adjoining counties.
• Must be accepted or provisionally accepted for training or study in agriculture or a related subject.
• Should not be eligible for State funding.
• The research must be of definable benefit to farming in Suffolk and the adjoining counties.
• Students must be under the supervision of a senior research leader at an appropriate centre in the UK.
• Trials must be within the qualifying counties, and under the direction of an experienced researcher.
• Results of Trust-funded research must be publicly available.
• The activity must be to improve public understanding of farming, food and food production within the qualifying counties.
• Building or equipment projects must be at teaching or training establishments within the qualifying counties.
• On-farm facilities must be frequently open to the public.
• Applicants must reside in the qualifying counties.
• Food products must comprise locally grown produce.
• Applicants must reside in the qualifying counties.
• Projects must enhance the farming/wildlife relationship.

To obtain an application form, candidates should provide all the following information by email to the Administrator at admin@felixcobboldtrust.org.uk:
- Full name, address, telephone number, email address.
- State category of grant applied for, and confirmation that all the conditions within the category are fulfilled.
- Name of course, or project, or activity proposed.
- Brief statement in support of the application; why it should be funded.
- Total grant requested.
- State the amount of any grants applied for, or awarded by any other body, including State funding. Failure to
do so may result in the withdrawal of any award from the Felix Cobbold Trust.
